I come across this video a month ago where claiming this boy is a “Malaysian wonderkid”. After doing some research on this, I come across this blog which belong to his brother. Yeah he is a kid born in
He is a good 11 years old footballer and I believe with correct guidance, he can be a decent player at least. Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) should keep in touch with his parent in possibility of getting him representing national team in the future. This is the time FAM should play proactive approach rather than waiting. Nothing will happen if we did not start the first step.
He is eligible for
Believe me, if we did not do anything, this boy going to be like Shaun Maloney. Malaysian who is playing for Celtic, ex-Aston Villa and

he got talent for sure. but if he comes back to Malaysia, it would be difficult to see him succeed at international level.
hello there,
I find it a bit funny when you mention about Shaun Maloney... Although Malaysian-born (born in Miri) I don't think he even once entertained the idea of playing for Malaysia regardless of how proactive FAM were...Even if he played for us I honestly think it'll only raises our profile not our game...
FAM should focus on the grassroots development in this country!!! the football development presently is not up to par!!!sure it's great if you can find talent outside the country..however currently FAM is neglecting the most important focus of any nation's f.a and that is grassroots development..
I honestly think this lad is quite good..."wonderkid"...emmm..I don't think so..all the luck in the world for this lad..i hope he make it..
Duke,
We dont need this kids to comes back to Malaysia. Look at Nicol David, Josiah Ng and Azizul Hasni. They all getting their training overseas and representing Malaysia at the same time. It's just FAM need to get the plan ready for this kids.
GombakRock,
I understand your fact here. Anyone do not want to play for Malaysia if they can play with better national team like Scotland. What i am suggesting is proactive approach to kids between 7-12 years old.
I really agree that the idea of looking for overseas kids is not our priority. I believe we can produce even better kids than Wan Kuzain if we have structure grass root development. I have read late Datuk Ahmad Basri grass root plan, and i couldn't understand why FAM stop his ideas instead of adding what is missing from his plan. Sigh..
He is 10 now and not 11...
According to his brother the video was taken when he was 8 and 9 year olds. You can imagine his soccer skills by now. He is a serious soccer player-for him "soccer is the preminent particapation sport, has hopes of playing soccer for (?) National team and to be a soccer professional, is committed to the process, maintain his soccer skills and fitness on daily basis. He can adapt to different styles of play and has good advance coping skills. Kuzain is the most recognized youth player throughout the Midwest known as the best and top quality player who can perform in any environment without complain with players of same, greater or lesser skills.

please keep us updated on the lad's footballing endeavors friend of Kuzain Brother or is it Kamal brother??..hehe
Good skill but don't you all think the speed on video is rather faster than norm.
After watching the on going so call 1st National Open Junior League on our local Astro channel 811 last nite, I think there are some good young footballers in Malaysia in the making. You can view them at www.gua.com (click at Gua TV) and C 4 yourself. Good luck to him anyway.
JohnJenin,
you said something about "having read almarhum datuk ahmad basri grass root plan"..if you have the softcopy, can you please post it here on bola today for further discussions and deliberations... thanx..
GombakRock,
i am sorry to tell you that i dont have the softcopy of National Youth Development Programme mastermind by the late Datuk Ahmad Basri.
I only manage to read it last few years at HijauKuning.com post by late Datuk Ahmad Basri before their server crash. :(

Why do you have to poke fun at Titus James by saying that he is playing for Brickfields FC? He has done more than any other Malaysian player overseas. That was rude and uncalled for.
Hi Jeev,
I dont think my article rude. I just try to get someone who know the latest update on what the heck happen to Titus James Palani. That question remained mystery.
and i dont agree at all Titus has done more than any other Malaysian overseas. He didn't even have a single cap for his country.
