
Kedah continue their winning tempo in last two games. Yesterday group B match at Darul Aman Stadium, between Kedah and Sabah seriously a one sided game. Kedah manipulate the first half by leading 5 goals in the first half.
Even though 25,000 crowds still shock and sad by the news of Datuk Ahmad Basri loss, Kedah players play well to dedicate their victory to Sultan Kedah in conjunction for his 50 years ruling and to Datuk Ahmad Basri as 'Father of Kedah Football'.
Kedah five goals come in from Marlon Alex James(2 goals), Cornellius Bernard Hugging, and sensational youngster Fadly Baharom (2 goals). While Sabah get the consolation goal from David Njoku.
Sabah coach Drago Mamoc comment that Kedah is the best team in Malaysia after the game. But his side are unfortunate after playing badly in first half especially his goalkeeper who made three simple mistakes. He add that is hard to make a comeback to a good side such as Kedah.
While Kedah coach in sad tone comment that he is happy after collecting three points at their home ground. He said that after leading five goals in first half, they reduce the tempo in second half because he don't want any injury to his player.
