The Malaysian Under-23 team were beaten 0-4 by the Chinese Olympic squad in a friendly match in Yanbian on Sunday.

The hosts took a 2-0 half-time lead with goals by their England-based players Zheng Zhi of Charlton and Manchester United's Dong Fangzhuo. The other goals were scored by Gao Lin and Li Weifeng.

Meanwhile, the national senior team will report for training tomorrow to prepare for the friendly matches against India in Hyderabad on July 22 and English side Chelsea in Shah Alam on July 2
