Selangor qualified for the Malaysia Cup quarter-finals after beating Terengganu 2-0 in a Group A match at Shah Alam Stadium yesterday.

Selangor opened scoring through import Frank Seator in the 38th minute while home-grown Akmal Rizal Rakhli wrapped up the game in the 70th.

The win puts Selangor top of Group A with 22 points with one game remaining after securing seven wins and one draw.

Terengganu remain second on 16 points.
