UPB-MyTeam failed to secure their place in the Malaysia Cup quarter-finals after going down to a surprise 1-2 loss to Johor Pasir Gudang in a Group C match at the MBPJ Stadium in Kelana Jaya last night.

Otelo Ocampos (72nd) and Faizal Abdullah (76th) were on target for Johor PG while Nazrin Nawi replied for the home side in the second-half stoppage time.

With three matches to go, MyTeam’s first loss in the competition allowed both Perlis and Perak to close the gap on them to five and six points respectively.
