Four matches will start tonight for quarter final first leg. Among four matches held, I more attracted to two matches that meeting two local clubs UPB MyTeam vs Johor FC and meeting between fierce rivals Kedah vs Perak.

Personally I have the feeling one of the local clubs such as UPB MyTeam, Johor FC or Police will go into the final. As far as I know, this is the second time Johor FC have been to quarter final for two consecutive years. I am sure Johor FC player is determined to break the duck.

Meeting between Kedah and Perak might spoil the Malaysia Cup excitement earlier. Whenever this two team meet, a lot of drama and excitement surrounded with the match. These two teams should only meet at least at the semi final. With financial problem facing by Perak FA, will Perak player throw extra effort in winning the match? If Steve Derby playing mind games with the player I believe Perak can go all out in Malaysian Cup. Hundred of thousand ringgit waiting Perak players if the become Malaysia Cup champion to solve their financial problem.

I’m picking Selangor, Terengganu, Kedah and Johor FC to cement their win in the first leg.
