Sierra Leone on a goal-scoring fiesta when they chaotic Afghanistan 6-1 in a Group A match at Petaling Jaya Stadium in the 40th edition of the Merdeka Cup football tournament.
Sierra Leone first goal come in the 20th minute through Alusine Turay but Afghanistan drew level in the 47th minute when Hafizullah Qadami's solo attempt went past the contact of goalkeeper Lansana Jalloh.
Sierra Leone had the improved of the interactions in the second half to send Afghanistan into bottomless guard.
The African team went in front in the 51st minute through Amara Kamara before Mohamed Kabia augmented the lead in the 60th minute throughout a free kick.
Dwight Foray found the net in sudden run in the 76 and 86th minute before Sulaiman Kamara sealed Afghanistan's fate in the 88th minute - much to the depression of goalkeeper Shahsuddin Amiri.
