I read report from Jakarta Casual that Malaysia won 3-0 in the first match against Vietnam today.
After lose to Vietnam in Merdeka Cup tournament, Malaysia get their revenge in Grand Royal Challenge Cup 2008 at Myanmar. They beat Vietnam 3-0 in the first match of Group B played at Thuwunna Youth Training Centre Stadium.
However, Malaysia pay the price of winning yesterday game after lost two of key defender to injury. Irwan Fadly Idrus and Mohd. Aidil Zaquan injury come through rough play from Vietnamese.
New Kelantas striker, Indra Putra Mahayuddin opened the scoring in 16 minutes. Selangor midfielder, Amirul Hadi Zainal doubles the lead before half time. Selangor new signing, Mohd Hardi Jaafar scored the third goal in 63 minutes.
With the three points, Malaysia will now look to playing their last match in Group B of the Grand Royal Challenge Cup 2008 against Ulsan Hyundai from Korea Republic tomorrow.
