Selangor is now working hard to prepare for Charity Shield match against Kedah on January 3rd 2009. Failure in Pre Season Tournament last month is acceptable because Selangor lost their key players to national team. Among notable absentee are Safee Saali, Amirul Hadi and Hardi Jaafar.

With early departure of our national team in AFF Suzuki Cup, Selangor now have full squad for their pre season friendly. Last night, Selangor play against Kuala Lumpur at KLFA Stadium, Cheras. In the match, Selangor only manage to win by 1-0 score. Selangor goal come through R. Surendren in 69 minutes.
