Selangor last friendly match against Melaka end with winning note before Malaysia League 2009 kick off on January 3rd. Selangor easily score 4 goals in the friendly match played at Hang Tuah Stadium, Malacca.

Selangor first goal come through national striker, Safee Sali from penalty kick. Selangor lead with a goal at half time. Second half, Selangor managed to add three goals through Amirul Hadi, Safee Sali and Amri Yahyah. The last match giving hint how Selangor line up will be against Kedah in Charity Shield.

Selangor will travel to Kedah for Charity Shield cum first Super League 2009 game for both teams. The match will be played at Darul Aman Stadium on January 3rd 2009.

Then Selangor will entertain Perak at Shah Alam Stadium on January 6th and Negri Sembilan on January 10th.
