At the Sultan Mohd Ismail Stadium in Kota Baru, Kelantan edged Terengganu 3-2 in a closely contested match.

Indra Putra Mahayuddin put the Kelantan ahead in the fifth minute but the visitors bounced back with former international Azlan Ismail scoring a brace in the 44th and 49th minutes respectively.

Kelantan found the equaliser, thanks to an own goal by Terengganu defender Che Ku Rusydi, in the 52nd minute before striker Badri Radzi netted the winner in the 59th minute.
