K. Rajagopal will only manage Malaysia Under 23 and senior squad while Ong Kim Swee will take over his post as Malaysia Under 19 coach. He was offered two years contract and this could end up speculation he taking national coach post as for temporary solution.

K. Rajagopal will bring his own set of coaching team which are Tan Cheng Hoe as his assistant, Faozi Mukhlas as goalkeeper coach and one fitness coach.

K. Rajagopal is holder of an UEFA pro-licence and age 53 years old. Rajagopal’s first task with the national team is the friendly match against Manchester United at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on July 18.

Good luck to K. Rajagopal on his appointment. I am looking forward from him to build up new national team squad which majority of his players come from Malaysia Under 23 players.
