After draw 1-1 in the first leg match at Utama Stadium, Kangar, Selangor use their home advantage to book their ticket to the final thanks to two goals scores by their skipper, Amri Yahyah. The FA Cup semi final match ended with 3-2 aggregate.
Selangor who is last year FA Cup finalist, open the scoring in the 15th minutes after Rudie Ramli cross find Amri Yahyah unmarked and headed it in to beat Farizal Marlias and cheer 25,000 fans in Shah Alam.
But it only took two minutes for Perlis to level the score line when Perlis midfielder, Azi Shahril Azmi fire a powerful shot to beat Mohd Hamsani Ahmad to end the first half with 1-1 score line.
When the match looks like going for extra time, corner kicks taken by D. Surendran again found Amri Yahyah at the near post to head the ball in to book their spot to the final and seal man of the match award last night.
Selangor will be seeking to lift the FA Cup for the fifth time at the National Stadium next Saturday.
