Kedah sustained their excellent run which moved them into third position in Malaysia Super League table as they kept back the pressure with a 3-1 win over Perak at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Star.

Fauzi Saari open his league account in the 25th minute before Shahrulnizam Mustapha added the second on the stroke of half-time.

Khyril Muhymeen Zambri made it 3-0 three minutes into the second half before Perak grabbed a consolation in the 72nd through Isma Alif Salim.
