Kedah qualify to second round of AFC Cup after finishing second behind Chonburi FC in group stage. Even Kedah lost 3-1 against Chonburi FC in the last match, Kedah was lucky after Eastern Athletic unable to collect three points when they lost 0-3 against Hanoi ACB to advance based on goal difference.
Kedah is set to meet Vietnam club, Binh Duong in the second round.

What an achievement for Azraai and his team to prove the critics wrong when they keep mentioning Kedah successes for the past two years is due to foreign player.
Although kedah is not the unstoppable force they were once before..they are still a good team coached by a good tactician...
