Malaysia lost 1-0 to Thailand in the semi final match play last night even though Malaysia conquering the ball for 90 minutes. This is the most thing worried me about our national team consisting junior or senior footballers.
I can see improvement from our youngster in controlling and chasing the ball around, but we still lacking of killer instinct from our striker to convert chances. Compare to Thailand who playing counter attacking game and score from set pieces concede in the second half.
So Malaysia will meet the home team, Vietnam for 3rd and 4th placing. We lost 2-0 to Vietnam in the first match but can we turn the result in our second encounter? Lets wait...
