Our national under 23 squad lost 1-0 by Saudi Arabia professional club, Al-Qadisiya this morning. After losing 2-1 against Saudi Arabia yesterday, K. Rajagopal opt to provide opportunity for his reserve to impress him while he saving his key players for another match against Jordan this Saturday.

Al-Qadisya fielded four imports players which are Ruben Dario Gigena from Argentina, Nelson Figueredo from Paraguay, Said Al Shoon from Oman and Juan Cominges from Peru.

    why are we having soo many friendly matches mate? dont you think its over the top? whats with the tournament is a good six months away and not to mention they were not FIFA class A international friendlies?

    There is pro and cons with the series of friendly matches arranged by FAM for our national U23 squad. i believe FAM intention on these matches are not on improving our ranking but more on giving opportunities to K. Rajagopal boys to gain experience after FAM called off Merdeka Tournament recently.

    I wont care much on ranking at the moment. I just want the boys to bag the gold medal and sustain this squad as our national team.

    BTW it just my two cent. ;)
