Last night decided which is the best 8 teams qualify for Malaysia Cup semi final. Even i am putting high hope for Kedah to qualify, but if looking at the facts before the game it is really impossible for Kedah to make it.

KL Plus v Kelantan

Negeri Sembilan v KM Naza

Johor FC v Perlis

Selangor v Terengganu

I dont really like this five format groups because champion of Group A, KL PLUS need to meet Group E champion which is Kelantan. How can a group winner meet each other in the quarter? Four group format is still the best for Malaysia Cup.

However, put aside news on Malaysia Cup. I just wanted to write interesting bit of news about Kedah coach, Azraai Khor Abdullah who failed to make to quarter final. He going to leave Kedah squad to take a role offer by FAM.

So there will be two questions pop up in my head. Who will take his role at Kedah for next season? and what role will he play in FAM? I'm pretty sure Kedahan prefer his assistant, Radhi Mat Din to be promote. And FAM want to utilize Azraai talent in promoting young guns to the next level.

Will Azrai be the man to head Malaysia U21 squad for next season in Malaysia Super League while Ong Kim Swee took care of Malaysia U18 which is Harimau Muda? Keep on guessing..
