Our boys, Young Tiger or better known as Harimau Muda led twice in the match against Thailand. But unforced error in the dying minutes only made us to be satisfied with a point in the Pre-SEA Games tournament in Laos yesterday.

Unquestionably our boys under Ong Kim Swee are improving but there is lot of thing need to be learned. I would be glad if our boys to be mentally prepare in big games where they seem to be unorganized and lost of focus when opponent penetrating our backline. Our goalkeeper, Mohammad Zamir needs to improve when dealing when crossing. He seems to be weak during aerial challenge.

Malaysia first goal score by Mohd Khairul Izuan in the 38th minute. Harimau Muda has great possession in the first half and Thailand seems to be harmless. But Thailand are fast when breaking our attack which is something we should aware off.

Thailand equalize in the 55th minute when referee awarded penalty kick. Good thing after the equalizing goal, our boys getting a wake up call and start piercing Thailand goal. Excellent trick from Wan Zack Haikal in the 78th minute produce Harimau Muda second goal.

However, the taste of winning goes away when our goalkeeper, Muhammad Zamir wrond judgement dealing with cross allow Thailand to equalize in the 89th minute. Malaysia nearly gets the winning goal in injury time, but long shot from Gary Steven Robbat hit the post.

Malaysia will play Vietnam in their second matches on 4th October. This match going to be entertaining as the first one. Congrats~!
