Negeri Sembilan is on course to Malaysia Cup final after picking a slim lead over Terengganu in the first leg match play in front of their 20,000 supporters at Paroi.

Negri have to be grateful against Mohd Aidil Zafuan Abdul Razak for getting the solitary goal against Terengganu in the 51st minute.

Terengganu were down to 10-man after Hariri Mohd Safie was sent off for a second bookable offence for stamping ex-Terengganu player Hairuddin Omar in the 80th minute.

Both team have 4 days to rest before completing the second leg match in Kuala Terengganu this Saturday.
