Kedah made a great start in their first away game in Johor but eventually slump in their first home match and ruin their top position in Malaysia Super League 2010. Kedah taste their first defeat for their bitter rival Perlis 0-1 at Darul Aman Stadium.

To made thing worst, Perlis winning goal score by their ex-player, Azrul Ahmad in the 17th minute. The new Kedah coach, Ahmad Yusof has lot of thing to work on after they unable to convert their chances even Perlis playing with 10 mens for 70 minutes.
