Just after Marlon making press statement on his decision to left Kedah, Azraai has been approached by ESPN Sportcenter through phone to get better picture on the situation happen in Kedah squad. Below is the transcript of Azraai statement about Marlon action.

For me he telling me that he got that offer and telling me that he want to leave. I said NO because u can leave only after you finished your contract and you understand pretty well that Malaysian Cup now is going to…proceeding to the last match of the group and then proceeding to quarter final, semi final and so on.

So being a professional he should understand about that before talking with the press. Definitely as the player, I’m very disappointed with his attitude.

Azraai also take his opportunity to explain on FAM ideas on abolishing import player for next season in Malaysia Super League.

In Kedah we had no problem with the foreigner they have been... I think all the player are the best in the league actually in the MSL, proven by the result that we achieved. And to me we would like to extend the contract if we can. But the decision of FAM who am I alone to go against the FAM. And to us its doesn’t matter FAM going to use the import or not. For him is to leave early is something impossible right. He has to respect the contract in the first place.
