Vietnam conquered Mozambique 4-0 in their Group B match in the 40th Merdeka Cup football tournament at the Shah Alam Stadium here tonight.

Both teams fight to a goalless draw in the first-half. But Vietnam came out fiercely after the break to rip off Mozambique with four goals.

Huang Dinh Tung strike double while Phan Thanh Binh and Trinh Quang Vinh added one each.

Earlier on Friday, Vietnam had defeated Myanmar by 3-1.
