That was the chronology on what happening around Kedah football scene lately. Othman Aziz held press conference last Wednesday to inform his resignation as Kedah manager and to explain on accusation from report made by one of Kedah Football Association (KFA) on abuse of power and money in the association.

People who are not aware on what happening behind Kedah football scene might think that without him Kedah might lose their focus in Malaysia League. Othman Aziz is very fortunate person to be appointed as Kedah manager after FAM banned Kedah manager, Dato Ahmad Basri Akil. When Dato Ahmad Basri takes over managerial post in 2005, it was his three year plan to get Kedah win major silverware in 2008 in conjunction of celebration of 50 years ruling by Sultan Kedah or better known as Golden Jubli. But, his idea realizes faster than expected where Kedah win treble for two consecutive seasons.

I personally will credit Kedah coach and his coaching member which is Azraai Khor, Radhi Mat Din and Ahmad Sobri Ismail behind Kedah success for past two seasons that working hard to continue Dato Ahmad Basri legacy. Sincerely, I felt that Othman Aziz is not needed in KFA as his is lack of ideas and creativity in ensuring continuity of Kedah grass root development in order to maintain Kedah status among the top team in Malaysia. Besides that, Othman Aziz action for taking politics into Kedah football scene is really unprofessional.
