Grand Royal Challenge Cup tournament kicked off at Myanmar on Tuesday.

South Korea's, Hyundai club and Merdeka Cup tournament champions Vietnam U-23 team will craft their entrance in the tournament which consist of national teams from Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia and host Myanmar.

Myanmar in Group A along with Bangladesh and Indonesia, while Malaysia, Vietnam U23 and Hyundai FC are in Group B. The tournament will play on 11 Nov. until 21, offering $15,000 for the winning team and 7,500 dollars fro the first runners-up.

As a preparation for the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Championship, Suzuki Cup in Thailand and Indonesia in December, Myanmar to attend the Grand Royal Challenge Cup with its national team, while Indonesia and Malaysia also send their national teams.

Myanmar national team is the champions of the Grand Royal Challenge Cup last edition and it will face an big task to defend its title in this year's regional tournament as more strong teams taking.
