Selangor will use Pre-season 2008/2009 Tournament host by Felda United as the medium to test their new players. Three Perak players, K. Nanthakumar, Hamsani Ahmad and Nasril Nourdin will feature in the tournament.

This will be the place where K. Devan to pick either Hamsani Ahmad or Nasril Nourdin as Selangor first goalkeeper for Malaysia Super League. Three of them missed the first Selangor friendly match against Piala Emas Raja-raja squad in Petaling Jaya last two week.

However Selangor still have two empty slots to fill the quota 25 players needed by FAM. Selangor manager, Zakaria Ab. Rahim expect the slots to be fill by local players from President squad, Emas Raja-raja squad or Bardhan squad. If only they shine during the selection by Selangor FA.
