Even last season Penang failed to pay salary on time to their players, it never stop outsiders to join Penang. Recently, Junaidi Daud and Ermi Mat from Kelantan, ex-Kedah Shariman Che Omar, and Mohamad Imran from PDRM signed for Penang for Super League 2009.
They will fill the space left by Mat Saiful Mohamad and Zulhisyam Jamaluddin who joined Kuala Muda Naza while Azrul Ahmad and Farizal Rozali joined Kedah.
Penang head coach S Velu pleased with the signing. He will build Penang squad around these players. Most of next season Penang players are promoted from President Squad, Under 20 and Reserve Squad.
