Malaysia have a great start for 2009 SEA Games by trashing out Timor Leste 11-0 in the opening match for Group A. Here is our first eleven.

I a bit disappointed when none of our local TV host our squad opening match. But luckily i manage to stream through internet watching Vietnam TV. It was an easy match for K. Rajagopal squad when they lead 6-0 before half time. Malaysia goals score by Norshahrul Idlan Talaha (2 goals), Badrol Bakhtiar, Zaquan Adha, Safiq Rahim, and Ahmad Fakri Saarani.

Malaysia added another 5 goals in second half through Aidil Zafuan, two goals from Ahmad Fakri Saarani, Amirul Hadi and Amar Rohidan.

While in the second match between Thailand and Vietnam ended in 1-1 scoreline to let Malaysia top the Group A table after the first match. Malaysia will play Vietnam on 6th December. If we are able to collect three points in the second match it will open up chance for Malaysia to qualify to semi final.
