Four new players signed for Perlis while another selected after impressed in trial to total up new eight additions to current Penang squad who mainly feature by youngsters. Four players signed are goalkeeper Yazid Yassin, defender Feriza Marleh, midfielder Danial Fadzly Abdullah and Malaysia U19 striker Ahmad Fakri Saarani.

While four players impressed Perlis head coach, Irfan Bakti Abu Salim are Zamzuri Mat Isa, Marliza Mohamad, Kamil Abdul Ghani, and Mohd Firdaus Md Fouzi. Now Perlis declared they are ready for next season challenge. Perlis coach has full confident on his player to contest for silverware.

Perlis officially start their training yesterday to prepare for Malaysia Super League that will kick off in January 2009. With FAM decision to ban import player, Perlis confident they have enough quality to become champion.

Perlis also retain their star which is their captain Mohd Fauzie Nan, Yusri Che Lah, Azi Shahril Azmi, K Soley, Badrul Azam Zamri, Mohd Redzuan Othman, Azmizi Azmi, Amar Rohidan, Amzar Junaidi Abd Jalil and Hairol Fazren Abu Hassan.
