Five games to go for Malaysia national team before writing down the last 25 players that will represent Malaysia in AFF Suzuki Cup in December.

Malaysia will start the friendly tour in Myanmar with three games before playing with Hong Kong national team. Malaysia will play their last games against AFF Champion Singapore on 29 November 2009.

30 players will be eligible for these five matches to impress national coach, B. Sathianathan to pick the last 25 players.

With defeat against Vietnam in Merdeka Cup final, players need to work hard to increase their performance especially in front of goals. In Malaysia camp, only Safee Sali impressed as striker in Merdeka Cup tournament while Mohd Zaquan Adha failed to impress even though scoring two goals.

B. Sathianathan need to change his tactical and not to depending on his 4-5-1 formation. He needs to play each player on his best position. His tactical to use Mohd Zaquan as attacking midfielder failed big time. He also using Khyril Muhaimeen as winger even he played as striker with Kedah since Hasmawi Hassan leaved Kedah.

I predicting that B. Sathiantan contract will not be renewed if Malaysia failed to feature at least in semi final match in AFF Suzuki Cup. Who is B. Sathianathan best replacement? I would like to see Kedah treble coach Azraai Khor Abdullah take the challenge as national coach.
